Metoyer Ellis
Metoyer Ellis is the CASA Program Director at Child Advocates of Fort Bend. Ms. Ellis worked as a CPS caseworker for 2 ½ years.
She began her social service career as a youth counselor at an emergency shelter for abused and neglected children. She completed her masters of social work from the University of Houston. She earned a masters of sociology from Texas Southern University and a bachelors of criminal justice from Sam Houston State University.

This workshop presents an innovative pilot in Fort Bend County that builds resiliency in youth through dynamic and empowering Youth Led Circles of Support (COS) meetings that begin once a youth turns 14. A facilitated panel of experts that includes a former foster youth, a CASA supervisor, and a CPS staff will share their passion and collaboration to change the odds for negative outcomes for youth leaving care and break the foster care syndrome by building invincible youth!
