Leroy Hodge Jr.
Leroy Hodge Jr. is the WINGS Volunteer Supervisor at Child Advocates of Fort Bend. He has been with the agency since June of 2005. He earned a bachelor’s of science in sociology from Texas A&M in College Station. A former NFL player, Mr. Hodge taught and coached at a high school for four years in Rosenberg, TX.

This workshop presents an innovative pilot in Fort Bend County that builds resiliency in youth through dynamic and empowering Youth Led Circles of Support (COS) meetings that begin once a youth turns 14. A facilitated panel of experts that includes a former foster youth, a CASA supervisor, and a CPS staff will share their passion and collaboration to change the odds for negative outcomes for youth leaving care and break the foster care syndrome by building invincible youth!
